Let us not be waning in our effort to fight the Yuchengcos. We may have won a battle, but we have not yet won the war. hwag naman kayong ganyan. I'm an employee of a YGC company (not with PPI or lifetime). I also have children to feed and support. If you have problems with PPI or Yuchengco, you go after them and do not involve hundreds of families who are dependent on the employment these other companies.

Then tell your employers to honor their agreement. They are ruining the education of our children and we will do all legal means to redress the wrong that they did.

Tell your employers that you employees will have a hard time. See what they answer, and you will know just how highly (or lowly) they regard you.

Why do you people always say things like "ruining the education of our children"? Have we considered the role and the responsbilities of the schools?

I think that we should focus on the terms of the contract, instead of being overly dramatic.

I do not think we are having a drama here, ms. or mr. employee of a YGC company. If you want to talk about contracts, then I guess you better take a long, hard look at the contract YOUR boss had made, and is now breaking. They said they will pay the tuition of our children no matter what the cost. Where is that promise now??? Nasa court ni Judge Barza?
We do not want you nor any other person to lose their jobs because of the greediness of some of your bosses. Why not tell them to just honor their contract para matapos na ito?

Ever heard of "majority rules"? How many people do you have supporting your so-called coalition? 5? 10? 20?

You claim there are 34,000 affected planholders. I bet the majority of them do not agree with your people power tactics. Most of them would agree with the rehab because it prevents a long court battle. It means they can get on with their lives and send their children to school.

So let's see a hands up. Do a majority of the planholders support your arrogant, name-calling methods? I don't think so. It would surprise me if you even have half of a majority.

As an amused outsider its so funny to see the typical pinoy attitude of- Kung hindi namin makukuha ang gusto ko! lahat tayo magdusa!!! this scorched earth.. crab mentality is the hall mark of our failure as a culture & as a people. Dont get me wrong.. the yuchengco's MUST pay, honor their contract & Helen Dee castigated for her arrogance. You're definitely on the right track (media, SEC, etc is all on the PEP's side) but to burn the barn to kill a mouse & in the process deprive innocent - non-PPI affiliated people of their livelihood is so... well.. Pinoy!

I am an employee of Makati City Hall. I am aware of the issues of Pacific. However, I cannot relate what I saw when a planholder with her two children going to the 11th floor. Her two children have two very expensive cellphones (7610 ung isa) tapos may tig-1 pang palm pilot ang teenaged girl na anak nya saka yung mommy. The boy was busy playing or texting sa NGage unit nya.

What i cannot relate is the continued plea of the coalition for PPI to pay up when their planholders can easily send their children to school. Why? because the price of the cellphone alone can pay for one semester tuition in a non-exclusive school.

If the lady can read this, yung anak nyang babae saka sya ang naka PEP Coalition T-Shirt while yung boy was in white shirt.

Dear Makati Employee,

Does that mean that if you have some money, then people can walk away from their obligations to you? And if you have some money, you don't fight for the rights of other people who don't have the money to fight? That's kinda warped, isn't... I hope you are not working in the office of the judges over there, coz I'm worried about your sense of justice..

The fact of the matter is that Yuchengco walked away from their contract, even if we have paid already all our obligations.

Kudos to the PEP Coalition! We have done so much, but the battle is far from over. We have to exercise more vigilance from hereon, as the legal battles get heated up and the air becomes thick with technicalities.

We should keep a tight watch on how PPI is dealing (should I say self-dealing?) with those ersatz aggrieved groups. For all we know, while the legal screens are all up, they are closing a deal with these people (their people, for all I know, plus some legit planholders suckered into the lies of the Yuchengco group) to an ersatz settlement. After all, if they can do self-dealing for their trusts under the YGC, this pseudo-settlement is a piece of cake as far as they are concerned.

I am also not a plan holder. but this is what i think of the whole drama.

The fact is Pacific broke the contract, plain and simple. I was raised to keep word of honor, through hell or high water. a contract is a contract and it is sacred. And the Yuchengcos MUST salvage the situation by settling ALL claims.

to Makati employee:
The "rich vs. poor" or the "you are rich, you can pay the tuition anyway" accusation just does not do it for me. For one, a lot of plan holders are not rich. Second, again, there was a contract and it was broken. It doesn't matter if the person is rich or poor! It's not logical to assume plan holders are rich and they can pay their children's tuition. Whoever argues this must return to school and logic their logic classes immediately! siguro magbasa ka muna tungkol sa kaso bago ka humirit kase alang katuturan yung hirit mo.

I am appalled by the logic of those supporting the rehab. does that mean when someone hoodwinks you, you will just curl up and die? that to me is the weakness of the Filipino as a people. its not crab or scorched earth mentality.

Is curling up and dying the kind of values we will pass on to our children? if that is so, I pity the young ones. I say, FIGHT! fight for principles and honor. yung pang tuition nyo this school year is just money that is here and is soon gone. what you should be concerned is what we will impart to the children. that lasts FOREVER!

Money back in 2010 with 7% compounded interest? WHAT A JOKE! a non-finance person like me can make a lot more than that in five years.

Rising tuition fees? PPI should have foreseen that. If not, they are not doing a good job of being a pre-need company. BAD MANAGEMENT is what it is plainly. you can't sugarcoat that, you can't escape from that.

I am appalled by the tack being adopted by PPI officials. I have just heard they stopped payments of tuition fee support because of the SEC revocation of Lifetime's incorporation. WHAT GALL!! dinamay na lahat, who cares who gets affected. is this the kind of company the pro-rehab people are supporting? makunsensya na sana kayo! think of all the kids, rich or poor!

to the PEP Coalition, BRAVO!! you have my support.

to the pro-rehab people: BOOO!! SHAME ON YOU!!

PS: i think conrado banal is not making any sense in his columns. better not read him na lang. paikot-ikot lang logic nya. better yet, he should read the fine print.

Last May 10, 2005, under the “On the Saturday Walk-out” Post on this Blog, I already correctly anticipated what PPI/Yuchengco’s strategy is. It’s fairly obvious anyway, the way “big business” is here in the Philippines. To quote relevant parts:

“We should be prepared for their other strategies. We know, that they will of course have their own group of Planholders, in all probability, legitimate, who will fight for PPI, defend its rehab plan, stand up in court and in front of the press and public scrutiny, and possibly even file counter-suits or at the very least, supporting documents to the rehab.”

This is, of course, that CARE group that was recently put up. Most likely, yes, maybe there are genuine planholders in that group as I said. And, yes, they have even "recruited" other "convenor" groups which may all be legitimate, to their cause (to give a semblance of a cross-sector of society "para mas malawak kuno" ang base). And most likely, yes, they may have even “recruited” other planholders who do not understand the repercussions of a rehab plan and have been fed distorted half-truths by PPI/Yuchengco. It is a “common-sense” PR ploy and counter-strategy and somewhere, somehow, some way, there will be a tie-up between them and PPI/Yuchengco. In any case, since our Hearing is today, they launched that CARE plus other Convenor groups just in time to cause enough media coverage prior to the Hearing, as expected.

In fact, they came out with an ad in the Inquirer today, bannering "Rehabilitation, Not Demolition", implying that other causes are out to destroy PPI and even the industry. So, even if we grant the assumption that these are legitimate groups and legitimate people, still, their ultimate agenda is wrong because they want PPI/Yuchengco to succeed in their Rehab Plan that had no basis at all. Remember, FRAUD ang pinagmulan nito. PPI was whole, liquid and solvent BEFORE the FRAUD. PPI DOES NOT NEED a Rehab Plan. What needs to be done is for the petition of suspension of payments and petition for rehab to be THROWN OUT. With that, PPI can be restored and all planholders benefits will be restored.

So, I say, these people fighting us are again distorting the truths and twisting words to suit their objectives. Let's be accurate and let's shout out the truth:

"RESTORATION!! NOT REHABILITATION NOR DEMOLITION!!".

My wife says that PPI has suddenly stopped paying-out the checks today! So, they are digging-in, lies and all, and they are refusing again to honor their commitments, even the paltry ones that they already volunteered to do? I guess it really was all PR. This is a portent of things to come under the rehab plan that PPI and CARE are peddling to the public!

NO TO THE REHABILIATION! YES TO FULL RESTORATION! YES TO RESTITUTION!

To Marc,
I'm sure the non-disbursement of checks is part of their tactic. It's their way of saying -- see, with the rehab plan, at least you get something. With the court case dragging on, you get nothing.

By the way, who is footing the Yuchengco's legal fees? Surely not PAcific!

I attended the recently concluded prayer rally and I am very happy to announce that it was a tremendous success 'coz it definitely surpassed my expectations! The church was filled up and there were even people standing outside. I liked the participation of the kids in doing the "readings" of the mass; the homily of Fr. Reyes and the reporting of our beloved president, Atty Piccio, on the accomplishments of the coalition as of this morning. I believe that the Yuchengcos underestimated the potential of the coalition and they will pay dearly for it. They didn't factor in the determination, the perseverance, the will power, the passion, the fighting for our values and beliefs, the fighting for our rights : all these intagibles into the equation. To my fellow coalition members, let us keep this intangibles in us burning and our desire to win will surely come someday! May the Good Lord bless us always

Sige nga, magbilangan tayo! Why dont you start your own blog site and see how many people can you gather to join your group? Bobo!

To Makati City hall employee:

You're job is to provide service, uninterupted service, to your constituents.

To the PEP Coalition, mabuhay kayo. I arrived in the church midway of the mass and walked with you to the city hall as well. I just have to leave earlier, I while the lawyers were announcing the outcome of the hearing. I'll try my best to be with you everytime there is a hearing, as that is the only contribution I can make. Salamat mga kaibigan para sa paglaban sa mga karapatan natin at ng mga anak natin, kahit di ko kayo kakilala!

Oh really. If you have the number why don’t Pacific call a general meeting for all planholders to see if they have the majority. Why do they have to resort to a self-serving meeting held at PICC 3 weeks ago wherein only employees of YGC were invited but the streamer says welcome pacific planholders. Look what happened to your propaganda , NABISTO TULOY KAYO NA PROPAGANDA LANG PALA. Common sense naman dyan, who in his right sense will agree to be paid at 7% in 2010 when what we bought was for outright payment whenever we use it & at whatever is the cost. SINO ANG NILOLOKO MO.

Or is it 10,000? 20,000? 30,000? Is that your monthly fee for opposing the coalition in its very own blog? How much ba talaga kinukubra ninyo?

5? 10? 20? Looks like your assignment is only to create discord and doubt within the Coalition ranks. If you've seen our assembly as the other lackeys sometimes do, it would have been obvious to you how many we are. Nice try though...

it would help the yuchengco that those pro=rehab would submit a formal letter promising to ppi that they will accept only the amount that the ppi promises to pay them in 2010 and that they are waiving all their rights to any additional payments that the ppi will be ordered or forced to pay because of the efforts of those who are against the rehab, masyasdong silang sugurista, they are pro-ppi kuno but they will share whateever benefits that were gained because of the efforts of those who opposed the rehab plan, it is a shame that you (Pro=rehab) would like to share in the fruits of those who worked hard and then insult them when they were fighting to achieve and gained the fruits. who knows through your waivers if you think you are the majority, ppi would be able to save a lot of money and pay us (anti-rehab) what is stated in our contract. This way everybody is happy, (1) ppi was able to save their money as it was their intention (2) those pro=rehab would get their money in 2010 (3) because of the large savings by ppi because they say they are the majority, ppi would now say they are in a position the "few" people who insist on their rights fewothoseevil htpay hthroughyour waiver would help ppi

YES CORRECT. I AGREE. That's a good plan. ALL THE PRO-REHAB, why dont you all put your names and plan nos in a piece of paper and submit to YUCHENGCO company (Lifetime/PPI) or pwede rin si Ms Tecson.. that you agree to the 2010 return of your money so that they will not have to give you tuition support from 2005 to 2009. That will DEFINITELY save them tons of money. And they will just have to service our (anti-rehab) plans. Anyway, sabi ninyo mas marami kayo.. so so much the better for the Yuchengcos, di ba?

I can't believe that some people can squarely say that they are pro-rehab!!! Where in our constitution does it say no okay lang magnakaw sa mayaman? Wala na bang karapatan ang mayaman in the Phils? If you're rich and linoko ka ng mas mayaman at malakas, you have no right to demand and stand up for your rights? If that's the case, then why are you still working at nagpapayaman? Prohibit, Prohibitive, Prohibited, Prohibiting, Prohibit…

I bought my kid’s education plan from Yuchengco so NOTHING could PROHIBIT my children from studying. Not even inflation. Not even the rising cost of tuition. Not even my DEATH could PROHIBIT my children’s education. At the time I was paying for it, gapang, iginapang ko panghulog because I believe nothing should PROHIBIT my kids from having their education. I knew then time will come when the cost of tuition will be PROHIBITIVE. And when that time comes ayokong makuba sa pagpapaaral ng mga anak ko. Those were the same words of the agent who sold it to me.

Now, my kids are PROHIBITED to use their plans. I went to PICC yesterday morning complete with all the requirements which they said I must bring. Despite these, I was told they were PROHIBITED to release the checks.

And now I learned LifeTime has been PROHIBITED to operate. I also bought pension plans from Yuchengco the very same year my kids’ education plans were fully paid.

Where have all my investments gone- yung iginapang ko?

The PEP COALITION is my refuge in all these.

To Helen Yuchengco Dee, Liway Gener and Roy Padiernos and all the other officers of PPI-Lifetime- this time around, stop prohibiting me me nor the other planholders and the the COALITION from demanding from Yuchengco to honor his agreement with us, his constituents. He must. Even beyond his lifetime. Nothing should PROHIBIT him!

Don't you know guys that while we were having mass at the St. Andrew Parish Church in Bel AIr, the Pro-Rehab group (KUNO???) were having their own mass at Poblacion Makati. Had you also recognized that most of the attendees of the said mass were faces familiar to you??? Yes, they are coz most of them are your agents and their secretaries, unit managers and other sales associates which the management of PPI made hakot in the church. They did not even know that the mass was for a SHOW and got the surprise of their life that MEDIA were all over the place when they arrived at the church. By the way they were distributed and required to wear that Green T-shirt before going there.

WHOAAAAAAA!!! another publicity of the YGC camp against the coalition.

A piece of advice for you agents, WAKE UP, ginagago na kayo and your being used by HELEN DEE and Company, mahiya naman kayo sa mga anak nyo at nabentahan nyo ng mga
plano.
Kelan kayo magigising kung kelan gutom na mga pamilya nyo!!!!!!

hey for all you know this jean padilla, supposedly top ppi sales agent, was selling in the secondary market NEW plans that were churrned out by ppi even after they have publicly announced that they are not selling new plans anymore ! and of course to prevent it from immediate usage, they put in new rules and regulations on when you can use it. then boom ! rehab. ygc gets your 200-400K plus and in exchange will pay you "original" kuno cost of the plan plus 7% in 2010. ygc makes a big killing !

so a 4-yr college exclusive that at original cost is say 100K - if sold in secondary is 200K - ygc pays you 100K plus 7% in 2010 but uses your 200K from 1992-2010. and probably didnot pay govt fees and taxes on the plan ?

would anyone know if these plans were really from the secondary market that were originally issued and bought before 1992 ? and not 'original plans' kuno. hmmm.

time for these smart guys to go to jail and maybe they can teach finance fraud and its repurcussions inside.

To the Makati City Hall employee,

So what if the lady and her kids can afford some luxury in life. The fact is that they fully paid their contract with PPI, thus, have the right to claim for what's due them. In fact, such luxury is nothing compared to the billions of the Yuchengcos.

PPI and its agents were able to earn a lot because of the traditional plans they sold. And I guess a lot of these were to the upper and middle class of society. The PPI agents were able to earn

To the person who claims to be a Makati City Hall employee (I very much doubt it!!!)...

PPI and its agents were able to earn a lot because of the traditional plans they sold. And I guess a lot of these were to the upper and middle class of society. So belonging to the upper and middle class of society should not be an issue. Why is this so difficult to understand? Or you people make this an issue intentionally.

The pro-rehab? Those are employees who were forced to sign the paper or else they will loss their job.
Kawawa naman mga employees ng PPI/Lifetime, ay mali!!! there's no such company as Lifetime pala. Pati ba principle in your life ay wala na rin? Sige magtagal kayo diyan baka pati retirement or separation pay niyo mawala narin totally.

Advertising your For Sale By Owner or time share listing here is more effective than advertising in Homes For Sale By Owner in newspaper or real estate publications. They also offer increased exposure to your listing by achieving higher traffic world wide via various internet marketing techniques.

Find out how your company rates by using a little known rating system!

Is your company a Scam, Dud, Scheme, Fraud Or Good Opportunity?.

95% of the money-making opportunities on the internet have been worked to death or are not suitable to be marketed through the internet. How does your company and/or opportunity rate… I’ll leave it to you to decide if your service, product and/or money making opportunity falls in this category.

Hurry you may NOT be happy with what you will find!
